Collect a piece of MLB history while supporting a great cause! Each week, an official game-used lineup card will be put up for auction with the proceeds benefiting a nonprofit organization. Each lineup card has an MLB certification and is signed by Cardinal Manager, Mike Matheny.
This week's lineup card benefits Ranken Jordan Pediatric Hospital. Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital provides specialized medical care and comprehensive rehabilitative services to medically complex children and their families as they make the transition from intensive care to home. Our innovative “Care Beyond the Bedside” model encourages and challenges every child to be up and out of bed, playing and interacting with others, and achieving as much functional independence as possible. Whether during an inpatient stay, while undergoing outpatient therapy, or in follow-up with specialists, thousands of patients throughout the region have benefited from the resources Ranken Jordan provides to help them get back to living after enduring some of life’s worst experiences. On April 9, 1941, founder Mary Ranken Jordan, her husband Clay, and a small staff cared for St. Louis area children suffering from polio, osteomyelitis and bone tuberculosis. From that beginning and to this day, Ranken Jordan’s focus was to “consider the children first.” Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital is honored to have been selected to participate in the Catch Twenty-Two Foundation auction series, and it is most grateful for the contributions received for this April 9, 2013 lineup card.
